WEGENER Releases Upgrade for iPump 6400 Media Server at 2011 NAB Show

Wegener Corporation (OTCQB: WGNR.PK), a leading provider of equipment for television, audio and data distribution networks worldwide, today announced the release of a hardware upgrade to the iPump 6400 video media server at the 2011 NAB Show. WEGENER will demonstrate the new features in booth SU 4902.

The iPump 6400 video media server hardware upgrade adds flexibility to support more tailored, video network configurations. The hardware upgrade provides support for HD video, digital signage and the new iPump media library access.

The iPump media library provides local access to stored videos on WEGENER iPump media players for applications, such as training programs requiring video on demand. A full featured remote control allows for DVR-like functionality of stored video. The on-screen-display is highly customizable. An updated web interface provides additional on demand media access. In total, the unit can be configured to allow end-users to access the media library content via local displays, desktop computers or mobile devices.
