The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (“DTCC”) deems a security worthless and non-transferrable when a security does not have a transfer agent or Company contact for a period of six years or more. DTCC will charge all Zecco Trading customers for holding worthless and non-transferable securities monthly.

Each month, DTCC furnishes a list of all security ids (CUSIPs) that are worthless and non-transferrable. The report is compared to trading activity for each CUSIP. In some cases, a security may be trading, but is still deemed worthless by DTCC. The accounts that hold a CUSIP deemed worthless or non-transferable will be charged a fee of $7.50 per CUSIP per month unless Zecco Trading receives a written request to sell this position to worthless. You will need to send that request directly to Zecco Trading for receipt by the 22nd to avoid that month’s charge. All accounts that hold a CUSIP deemed worthless or non-transferable will be charged $7.50 per CUSIP per month at the end of each month. To request a worthless security to be removed from your Zecco Trading account:

Print and fill out a Request for Disposition of a Nontransferable Security form
Send it to Zecco Trading:

Not that it matters, but I had a disturbing dream about an hour ago, so I got up and finally logged into Zecco a few minutes ago.

My shares of UCPC have been restored as of 4/16/2009 with a T symbol, which means cancel sale in Zecco talk.

Dealing with brokers is like dealing with the devil!

Go UCPC!!!!!!

they might be short, scotturd normally calls if something weird is about to happen but it hasn't gotten to that point of weirdness---just taking client's shares for no reason

at least they should give you your money back

I bought and sold CHGI and got charged $135. so i am not sure which tracation incurred the charge.

#2 I don't really know, but it has to do with the way a company dishes out it shares, obviously not through Cede.

#3 Zecco told me that a list would be made available, but alas, they lied.

It is scary to read your story.. what is the final outcome?

I found some of my holdings are not DTC elgibile, I got charged $135 from the Zecco for selling one of them. very screwed..

1. Will they remove non-DTC elgibile stock from your account?
2. how can an issue become DTC elgibile?
3. How can we know if a stock is DTC elgibile?

Not only is it gone,
but if I go all the way back in my account history, there is no record of my ever owning it.

What? Mine is still there, I've never experienced that with any of my holdings with Scottrade

Scottrade has not onlt eliminated my UCPC,
but it does not show up anywhere in my account history.
Now, when I call they can say they don't know what I'm

We may reinstate these securities however it will be a $15 fee and $7.50 per month. If you have any additional questions please contact us. I hope you have a great day.

So they stole my shares, but they are now admitting that they are not really gone, simply held ransom. So If I pay their ransom of $15.00 they will give me back my shares, if I pay them $7.50/Mo. to keep them in my account.

Proof positive that the SEC condones criminal activity by brokers, Zecco has kidnapped my shares!
