--Abu Dhabi's Masdar is set to buy a 49% stake in Spanish utility Iberdrola's wind project, known as East Anglia 3, off the Suffolk coast in the Southern North Sea, Cinco Dias reports, citing unnamed sources.

-- The project, which is set to have a capacity of 1,400 megawatts, was valued at 4 billion euros ($4.27 billion), according to the Spanish newspaper.

--Iberdrola declined to comment when contacted by Dow Jones Newswires. Masdar wasn't immediately available for comment.
