Prairie Lithium
Prairie Lithium is a lithium exploration and development company focused on unlocking lithium brine resources in the Duperow Formation, located in southeastern Saskatchewan, Canada. The project is known for its innovative use of Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology, which allows for more efficient and environmentally friendly extraction of lithium from brine.

The Prairie Lithium project covers over 390,000 acres of subsurface permits and has significant lithium concentrations across the project area. The company utilizes conventional oil and gas drilling methods to access lithium-rich brine from aquifers approximately 2.3 kilometers underground. The extracted lithium is then converted onsite to a high-purity material.
In December 2022, Prairie Lithium entered into an agreement to be acquired by Arizona Lithium Limited, a company focused on sustainable lithium development. This acquisition aims to leverage Prairie Lithium's resources and technology to further advance lithium extraction and production capabilities.

When trump wins..Tarriffs on Chinese inports will happen, and that includes all cheap, low grade lithium bi, and other precious metals..enough of them controling the mineral /chip market..we need to go full out right green energy in a environmental way..deregulation wont be all clean, but going with nuclear, solar, EV industry will cut down carbon emissions that china could care less about..now Jancik and Burba have to get that plant being packaged now to the prime brines of the smackover..Burba huge ranch in Texas sits on top of huge amount of lithium..EV metals have vast holdings in the Texas.Loisianna smackover regions..so lets get some IBAT plants built with tax breaks/government funding..IMO..going to happen w Trump/Musk..things will get done now ..hope its a green day today for all..

what a good morning it is Trader..Trump wins the election, energy stocks win..Deregulation of the mining industry, particularly fossil fuels , will make Tesla, Exxon Mobil, and Chevron huge winners. Argentina has Musk money for lithium mining, and IBAT has a tech that works, and is licensed there.Smackover here we come.

Constructibilidad
I am a witness, I was there the first three months after the landing, people lived in the abandoned houses of Fiambala and they went out to eat at their homes and came back, there was no alcohol, I never saw anything like it, used cranes and trucks were brought from China and within the mining payroll they said they wanted to set up a workwear factory, I have worked in more than 20 countries, I never saw anything like it, it did not exist There was no union on the construction site there was a dining room and the garbage cans were inside, I did not understand why they were all wearing masks and it was because of the flies, it seems that the pumas did go to the garbage cans, I think I never saw anything like this even in Nigeria, Egypt, Penonome

Social and economic crisis in Fiambalá due to lithium mining.
The lithium extraction project of the Chinese company Zijin-Liex in Fiambalá, Catamarca, has become the epicenter of a social and labor crisis. Massive layoffs, unpaid salaries and accumulated debts with local suppliers – which exceed 156 million pesos – have severely affected the economy and stability of the community. The unexpected stoppage of work on the lithium processing plant has left workers and suppliers in uncertainty, and has generated growing tensions among residents.
Decision to export without added value: After the visit of several provincial officials to China, information emerged that Zijin-Liex will desist from processing battery-grade lithium in Catamarca. Instead, they plan to export the ore to be processed to battery grade in China. This decision has generated controversy in the political sphere, as some governors promote the manufacture of lithium batteries in Argentina, despite the fact that the technical and economic challenges make it unfeasible. However, others accept direct export of concentrated brine, which is shipped with minimal added value, thus limiting the region's economic development potential.
Tax and equity issues: The decision to export the raw mineral raises questions about the export duties applicable to the concentrated brine. The region needs tax benefits that compensate for the lack of added value at source. In addition, the community and other productive sectors are wondering why this company is allowed to have its battery-grade production in China and paralyze its local carbonate plant, while other mining companies are required to invest more and develop the value chain in Argentina.
Complaints of labor conditions and violence: In addition to the economic and labor crisis, there are serious complaints about working conditions within the Zijin-Liex company. There are allegations of workplace and gender-based violence, including a specific complaint against a manager of the company. These conditions have increased the frustration and discontent of the workers and the community, who hoped that mining activity would bring development and stability to Fiambalá.
Impact on the local economy and disappointment in the community: Residents, disillusioned by the lack of promised benefits, express frustration with the company and the governments involved, who they say have offered very little to the local community compared to the expectations of mining development that were once placed before them.

Burba has evaluated brine samples from fifty locations around the world. “Most are crap,” he says, relaxing in jeans and black alligator boots in a large house with vaulted ceilings outside Atlanta, a small town a thirty-minute drive south of Texarkana. The brine containing the most lithium he’s found in North America, rivaling the best in the world, lies beneath a one-hundred-mile swath of northeast Texas and southern Arkansas.

Chile, getting ready for DLE
https://ide-tech.com/en/ide-to-execute-epc-of-the-saddn-desalination-plant-in-northern-chile/
The new desalination plant supports CODELCO commitment to reducing water consumption from traditional sources by 60% in the next decade
Kadima, Israel – June 5, 2023 – IDE Technologies, a leading global provider of large-scale seawater desalination plants, received the NTP (Notice To Proceed) of the EPC contract of the SADDN Desalination Plant by Techint E&C, the overall EPC Contractor for the entire SADDN Project. The plant, located in the Tocopilla area in northern Chile, will have a design capacity of 840 lps (roughly 73,000 m3/day) once in operation. As part of the SADDN project, that provides desalinated water to three mines of CODELCO’s Northern District (Radomiro Tomic, Chuquicamata and Ministro Hales), this desalination plant is an important addition to CODELCO’s vision to reduce its water consumption from traditional inland sources by 60% by 2030.
IDE Technologies large-scale infrastructure and water treatment experience encompasses more than 55 years of know-how and hundreds of desalination plants installed globally, with more than 20 plants installed in Chile in the last 30 years. IDE’s innovative, state-of-the-art design of the SADDN desalination plant prioritizes sustainability, social responsibility, and environmental soundness.
“We chose IDE to be our technology partner due to their expertise in this space and it was clear they could support Techint E&C and the project stakeholders with the common goal of reducing water consumption from traditional sources with their industry-leading technology,” said Marco Matranga, Project Director, Techint E&C.
