"The Kids Are All Right," produced in

Artist International, scored the best screen
average of the year for a specialty release, following its
theatrical release, July 9, and continues to win over moviegoers.
The Focus Features film, directed by Lisa Cholodenko, grossed an
estimated $504,888 as it opened in seven theaters, raking in
$72,127 a screen, the fifth best in the last five years. This past
weekend, as it grew from 38 to 201 theaters, it generated more than
$2.6 million, with a per-theater average of $12,909, the best of
any film in release, including "Inception." Now, with a cumulative
box-office of just under $5 million, the dramatic comedy will
expand to an additional 500-600 theaters this coming weekend.
Hollywood Studios International's chairman and CEO Steven Saxton
served on the film as an Executive Producer. Joel Newton, Artist
International's managing director, was a Co-Producer.
Since "The Kids Are All Right" ignited a high profile bidding
war at this year's Sundance Film Festival, buzz for the warm,
comedic portrayal of a lesbian couple and their two children, has
