Givaudan SA said Thursday that it has acquired 25% of the shares in B.Kolormakeup & Skincare, without disclosing the terms of the deal.

The Swiss flavor-and-fragrance company funded the deal from existing resources.

"Under the terms of the agreement, Givaudan has the option but not the obligation to acquire a controlling stake in B.Kolor after a period of three years," it said.

Italian company B.Kolormakeup & Skincare is a contract manufacturer for makeup and skincare products and employs around 250 people.
