I think it's fair to say that Aston Martin has simply struggled with its portfolio and perhaps indulged a little much in extremely low production 'fantasy' vehicles. My belief is they've rested a little much on their laurels and spent time and money on vanity products vs market penetration ones.

Net-net, they have not had the impact they desired with the refreshed Vantage, the competition can do more for less and the brand's cachet outpunches its current product lineup.

The DBX represents a new path that could find new customers as well as repeat customers and perhaps spur on some real sales figures and production.

Very interesting. I'm curious as to how such a famous brand is languishing like this...

Going to get in on this page now while the momentum builds. I was crucified in this stock last year buying in the $4s but jumped back in this year and have been adding.

For those coming in fresh and doing their DD, here's my bull case as it rests today:

- Formula One team will be AM branded for '21 season
- Canadian Billionaire Stroll has thrown and lot of money in
- Stroll has brought many wealthy and famous friends in also
- DBX SUV will push AM into more households (relatively speaking)
- New Bond movie pushed to '21
- Brand equity and legacy strong here
- Mercedes is deepening ties - could become very significant to brand survival and thrival (sic)

What say you all?

Uo 68% since I bought, Aston Martin stock is looking just like the cars, very pretty.

Mercedes Benz takes a 20% ownership stake in Aston Martin today. Cant get much better news than that.

I think this company has many new things going for it, not just the SUV.

I am very interested here--- Not only do I love the cars, the SUV may just save the stock

Earlier this year I had this stock set to buy at .60 and sell at a dollar and it flipped that way for or 5 times in a 2 week period.

I guess I will buy into this stock again today. There is just too much going on with this company right now to not be interested in being a part of it. A lot of smart and wealthy people are involved with this company right now. They are definitely the people that I want to take the ride with.
