Evergreen Gaming Initiates Strategic Review Process and Appoints Capital West Partners as Financial Advisor

Evergreen Gaming Corporation ("Evergreen Gaming") (TSX VENTURE:TNA) announces
today that it is initiating a process to review potential strategic alternatives
in order to maximize shareholder value (the "Strategic Review"). Evergreen
Gaming is pleased to announce that Capital West Partners has been appointed
exclusive financial advisor to assist Evergreen Gaming with the Strategic
Review. The Strategic Review will include exploring debt refinancing, strategic
alliances, joint venture opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and the sale of
all, or part of Evergreen Gaming.


Evergreen Gaming cautions shareholders that there is no assurance that the
Strategic Review will result in any specific strategic or financial transaction
and that no timetable has been set for its completion. Evergreen Gaming
anticipates that it will make no further announcements regarding the Strategic
Review unless there are material developments.
