KIRKLAND LAKE, ON, June 15, 2011 /CNW/ -- KIRKLAND LAKE, ON, June 15, 2011 /CNW/ - RJK Explorations Ltd., (RJX.A: TSV) ("RJK") is pleased to provide an update on its plans for exploration on the 13,850 hectare Blackwater East and West properties, which are contiguous to and adjoining New Gold Inc.'s 43‐101 compliant multi‐million ounce Davidson‐Blackwater bulk‐tonnage gold deposit located approximately 100 kilometers southwest of Vanderhoof, B.C. Mineral exploration permits for linecutting and IP geophysical surveying were received by RJK and field crews have been dispatched and are now on the ground at Blackwater conducting a regional program of prospecting, sampling (soils and outcrop) and field mapping. Condor Consultants, specialists in airborne geophysics completed a detailed interpretation of the Company's 1,526 kilometer heliborne magnetic and electromagnetic geophysical survey completed last spring from which a number of targets have been identified. Additionally, a review of the historic geochemical data taken from the Regional Drainage Sediment and Water Geochemical Data, Report 2006‐4 by Geoscience BC. has identified sample sites anomalous in several geochemical elements (Au, Ag, As, Cu, Pb, Zn) associated with gold deposition within RJK's properties. A number of other junior exploration companies have also started their exploration programs in the Blackwater Gold District and RJK anticipates a steady flow of news from the camp.
