Acadian Energy Inc. Announces Revocation of Cease Trade Orders

Acadian Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ACX) (the "Corporation") announces that on May
11, 2012, the Corporation filed its audited financial statements for the year
ended December 31, 2011, accompanying management's discussion and analysis
("MD&A"), and corresponding certificates, as required by Ontario securities law
(the "Required Documents").


On May 3, 2012, the Ontario Securities Commission (the "OSC") issued a temporary
cease trade order (the "Cease Trade Order"). The Cease Trade Order was issued
due to the Corporation's failure to file the Required Documents on a timely
basis. The Corporation is now up to date with its continuous disclosure
requirements. The Required Documents can be reviewed on SEDAR under the
Corporation's profile at www.sedar.com.


On May 3, 2012, the Exchange suspended the Corporation's shares from trading on
the Exchange as a result of the Cease Trade Order. The Corporation has applied
to the Exchange for re-instatement of trading in the Corporation's shares and is
now under final review by the Exchange.
