The company is merging with Blue Ridge Mountain Resources and the transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2018. The transaction is expected to generate significant operating synergies and boost cashflows. It will enable Eclipse Resources to enhance its portfolio of core Utica locations and Marcellus.

Eclipse Resources has an impressive earnings surprise history. The upstream player beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate for earnings in """"""all of the trailing four quarters, the average being 261.1%. For fourth-quarter 2018, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for earnings per share has been revised higher in the last 30 days. The consensus estimate for 2018 earnings was revised to 9 cents from 8 cents.

Keep shorting tomorrow sold some CLDR to load this thing hard.

I almost did to to re-buy after split played the post split a bit instead. Do not really like the high price to the stock now, less playable % wise but cannot deny the numbers, stuck it in my LONGTERM hold category.

Was another earnings blowout, you got 1 MR for 15 ECR I had 150K have 10K now. Played 5K once selling 17.40 re-buying @15.50 had to stay with them now is 5 Q's beating and looking for more.

Will see how it goes in the coming days I am looking for near 20 at some point in the future.

We just merged last night new ticker (MR) price bid 14.04 ask 23.00 at the moment, no money loss as of yet.

Agreed, should be nice steady uptrend nice and slow into ER on the 27th looking for surprise with this one.

Cool, wish I would have mentioned it when it was in the 1 range, but, I don't like to post stocks other boards, it has its dips here and there, but, the next 6 months are good for this one we could see an exit +3-3-50 things keep going the way they are.

And yes energy/oil been beaten to death markets down pressure, oil down pressure, but, anyone who has lived up north, oil goes up when temps get frigid.
