Ares Acquisition Corporation (NYSE: AAC.U) (the “Company”) announced today that, commencing March 25, 2021, holders of the units sold in the Company’s initial public offering of 100,000,000 units, completed on February 4, 2021, may elect to separately trade the Class A ordinary shares and warrants included in the units. Those units not separated will continue to trade on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) under the symbol “AAC.U,” and the Class A ordinary shares and warrants that are separated will trade on the NYSE under the symbols “AAC” and “AAC WS,” respectively. Holders of units will need to have their brokers contact Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company, the Company’s transfer agent, in order to separate the units into Class A ordinary shares and warrants.

The units were initially offered by the Company in an underwritten offering. UBS Investment Bank and Citigroup acted as book-runners and representatives of the underwriters for this offering. Morgan Stanley and Barclays acted as book-runners, and CastleOak acted as co-manager.
