Medical Nutrition USA Announces Veterans Affairs Formulary Contract

ENGLEWOOD, N.J., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Medical
Nutrition USA, Inc., (OTC:MDNU) (BULLETIN BOARD: MDNU) today
announced that its Pro-Stat(R)64 modular liquid protein supplement
has been selected by the US Department of Veterans Affairs as the
exclusive product on its Nutrition Formulary in the Therapeutic
Specialty Modular Nutritional Products, liquid, ready-to-use
category for Veterans Administration hospitals and nursing homes,
Indian Health Services, and Federal prisons. The formulary contract
is for one year with four one-year renewal option periods. Pro-Stat
will be distributed to the covered facilities through the Veterans
Administration approved prime vendors, which include U.S.
Foodservice and McKesson, as well as by the company directly.
Purchase amounts under the contract will depend upon the rate at
which individual facilities use the products. "The selection of
