Adds HDTV Programming Services Offering to JW Marriott, Marriott and Renaissance Brands DENVER, Oct. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- On Command Video Corporation, a leading provider of in-room interactive entertainment for the hotel industry and its guests, announced today that it has completed an agreement with Marriott International that re-affirms and extends On Command's status as a preferred provider for in-room entertainment services to JW Marriott, Marriott and Renaissance branded properties. For those JW Marriott, Marriott and Renaissance properties that will be converting from existing CRT technology to flat panel televisions, On Command will outfit the properties with new entertainment options that enhance the hotel guest's in-room experience. Under the terms of the agreement, On Command will begin installing high definition television services (HDTV) in Marriott properties. HDTV services will include on-demand Hollywood movies, premium cable television channels, off-air broadcast channels and other independent programming.
