Award honors individuals for outstanding contributions to the
development of science and technology of photovoltaic solar energy

announced that Dr. Subhendu Guha, Senior Vice President of ECD and

has been named the winner of the PVSEC Award for R&D on Solar
Photovoltaics. Dr. Guha was announced the winner of the award on
the opening day of the 18th International Photovoltaic Science and
Engineering Conference that took place in Kolkata, India in
January. The award honors individuals for outstanding contributions
to the development of science and technology of photovoltaic solar
energy conversion. The citation noted Dr. Guha's innovative
contribution in the development and production of multi-junction
amorphous silicon-based materials, devices and products. "I'm
