On September 13, 2012, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab will host a Technology in the Classroom Town Hall event in partnership with Dell and co-produced by NBC News’ Education Nation and NBC Learn. Leading education thought leaders and policy makers, plus parents, teachers and students will gather to discuss technology’s influence in learning and how to cultivate new, innovative learning models.

The program will include two panels, “The Digital Divide: Equity and Access” and “How Technology Spurs Innovation in the Classroom.” The event will be moderated by NBC News Chief Education Correspondent Rehema Ellis with support from NBC News Special Correspondent Chelsea Clinton, as well as NBC Boston affiliate WHDH-TV Anchor Kim Khazei.
