Dell to Offer Expanded Services for Deployment, Development, Migration and Application Management of SAP HANA®

Dell Services today announced expanded services to better help
customers design, build and operate the SAP HANA® platform from SAP
AG. SAP HANA is an in-memory database solution that provides the
infrastructure and foundation for multiple business applications,
such as analytics and business intelligence. It enables
organizations to make strategic decisions in real time by analyzing
complex data to generate new business insights. Dell Services
provides assessment, design, development, deployment and managed
services for customers adopting SAP HANA, to further enable
customers to realize the full potential of their investment.
Dell Services recently helped the University of Kentucky deploy
SAP HANA and develop a Student Retention Analytics model for
analyzing and predicting student graduation likelihood. It is
designed to turn information into action by identifying students
who show early signs of needing help and by highlighting their
specific areas of concern. As a result, the university will now be
able to deploy student self-service recommendation tools, review
predicted graduation scores and preemptively recommend advisor
sessions to students. This scoring model and analytics environment
will allow the university to share the insights with key
stakeholders, such as students and parents, via opt-in notification
systems.
SAP HANA pulls operational information from virtually any data
source into a single environment and instantly analyzes events and
activities without affecting existing applications or systems.
