Dell SecureWorks Vice President Mike Cote Wins Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 Alabama/Georgia/Tennessee Award

Dell SecureWorks today announced that Dell SecureWorks Vice
President Mike Cote, former Chairman and CEO of SecureWorks Inc.,
has won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2011 award
for Alabama/Georgia/Tennessee in the technology category.
Awards are given to entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and
extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial
performance and personal commitment to their businesses and
communities.
The Entrepreneur Of The Year Program recognizes business leaders
in more than 140 cities and more than 50 countries throughout the
world. The Program honors entrepreneurs regionally in June, leading
up to the national awards in November at the Ernst & Young
Strategic Growth Forum 2011. At the forum this year, Michael Dell,
Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO, Dell Inc., will be the
keynote speaker.
The regional award recipients were selected by an independent
judging panel made up of previous award recipients, top CEOs,
private capital investors and other regional business leaders. The
Alabama/Georgia/Tennessee winners were revealed at a gala event
June 23 in Atlanta.
