Hagens Berman, a consumer-rights class-action law firm, today announced that it is expanding its investigation of defects in the Dell (NASDAQ: DELL) Optiplex line of personal desktop computers.

The firm filed a proposed class-action lawsuit against Dell last year claiming that many of its Optiplex desktop computers had flawed motherboards and capacitors, causing the machines to fail prematurely. That case is currently in litigation.
