The outcome of the Bank of England's monetary policy meeting and its minutes are due on Thursday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Statistics Finland is scheduled to issue consumer prices for March. Prices had declined 0.1 percent on a yearly basis in February.

At 3.15 am ET, Swiss producer and import prices are due. Economists expect producer and import prices to fall 5 percent annually in March after easing 4.6 percent in February.

At 4.00 am ET, Italy's statistical office Istat is set to issue final consumer price data for March. According to the preliminary estimates, consumer prices dropped 0.2 percent year-over-year in March.

Eurostat is scheduled to release euro area consumer prices for March. The statistical office is likely to confirm a 0.1 percent annual fall in prices in March.

At 7.00 am ET, the Bank of England is set to announce its latest interest rate decision and publish the minutes of the policy meeting. The UK central bank is widely expected to keep its key rate unchanged at a record low 0.50 percent and the size of the quantitative easing at GBP 375 billion.

At 8.00 am ET, Poland's M3 money supply data is due. Economists forecast money supply to grow 9.8 percent year-on-year in March after expanding 10 percent in February.
