Measurement Specialties Announces Settlement of SEC Investigation FAIRFIELD, N.J., June 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Measurement Specialties, Inc. (AMEX:MSS), a designer and manufacturer of sensors and sensor-based consumer products, today announced it has reached a definitive settlement agreement with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which will resolve the Commission's investigation of the Company. Pursuant to the agreement, the Company will pay $1.00 in disgorgement and $1,000,000 in civil penalties. The terms of the definitive agreement are consistent with the agreement in principle reached in May 2004. The definitive agreement is subject to final court approval.
