BRANSON, Mo., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- John Q. Hammons
Hotels, Inc. (AMEX:JQH) proudly announces its plans to develop the
$2 million, 10,000-square-foot, full-service Spa Botanica at the
award-winning Chateau on the Lake Resort and Convention Center in
Branson, Mo. The resort, convention center and spa are owned and
managed by Springfield, Mo.-based John Q. Hammons Hotels, Inc., the
nation's leading independent builder, developer, owner and manager

Strategically designed to satisfy service to both resort guests and
the Branson community, the two-story spa will connect to the
Chateau on the Lake Resort via the veranda on the south side of the
property. A convenient interior entrance will meet the needs of
hotel guests and an exterior entrance with adequate parking will
service other clientele. "Combining the distinguished atmosphere of
an exquisite resort with the extraordinary features of a
one-of-a-kind spa experience, represents our dedication to the
pleasure and comfort of every guest," said Mr. John Q. Hammons,
founder, chairman and chief executive officer of John Q. Hammons
Hotels, Inc. "Spa Botanica will set our resort apart as the finest
choice for a restful, worry-free getaway in the Ozarks." About Spa
Botanica Spa Botanica will cater to both women and men, providing
an oasis of relaxation with soothing decor and calming sounds of a
signature water feature in the spa's serene lobby. An experienced
and highly trained staff consisting of a spa director, four
full-time estheticians and several massage therapists, will offer a
variety of pampering services, including manicures, pedicures, body
scrubs and buffs, masks, wraps, and massages. The second floor of
Spa Botanica will feature seven treatment rooms and a locker room
devoted to women, ensuring the ultimate private, tranquil
experience. The lower level of the spa will be dedicated to men
looking to reap the benefits of world-class, restful treatments.
There also will be a special room devoted to couples who desire
experiencing their massages together. An elevator will provide
access to both floors, making the spa compliant with American
Disabilities Act guidelines. About the Property Luxury, old world
