A former Apple Inc. (AAPL) employee sued the company, claiming
he was wrongly fired in December, Bloomberg News reported
Tuesday.
Wayne Goodrich said in a complaint filed in California state
court that he was executive producer of public presentations and
said he played a role in introducing Apple to Siri technology,
Bloomberg reported.
The report said Mr. Goodrich alleged breach of contract and
unfair business practices.
Mr. Goodrich said Apple's late co-founder Steve Jobs made an
"express promise" of job security at a 2005 meeting, Bloomberg
reported.
An Apple spokesman declined to comment, Bloomberg said.
