SNB Bank of Kansas Acquires Deposits and Loans of First National Bank of Anthony

SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan., June 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SNB Bank
of Kansas announced that it has entered into an agreement with the
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to acquire deposits
and loans from the First National Bank of Anthony (FNB Anthony),
Anthony, Kansas. SNB Bank of Kansas is a full service commercial
bank headquartered in South Hutchinson, Kansas. (Logo:

six branches of FNB Anthony will reopen as offices of SNB Bank of
Kansas. -- Branches with regular Saturday hours will reopen
tomorrow, Saturday, June 20th. -- Other branches will reopen on
Monday, June 22nd. -- FNB Anthony depositors will automatically
become depositors of SNB Bank of Kansas, and deposits will continue
to be insured by the FDIC without interruption. During the weekend,
FNB Anthony customers can access their money with a debit card,
through an ATM, or by writing a check. Checks drawn on FNB Anthony
accounts will continue to be processed. Loan customers should
continue to make scheduled payments as normal. FNB Anthony
customers can continue to bank as usual while SNB Bank of Kansas
fully integrates FNB Anthony operations. SNB Bank of Kansas is a

Office of the Comptroller of the Currency after the close of
business on Friday, June 19, 2009. At March 31, FNB Anthony, which
also operated under the trade name of FNB Johnson County, had
assets of $157 million. SNB Bank of Kansas also acquired certain
assets and liabilities in addition to loans and deposits. The
agreement with the FDIC includes loss sharing agreements that
provide SNB Bank of Kansas with significant protection against
credit losses from loans and related assets acquired from FNB
