UBC sign deal to extend contract with Trafficlink to 2010

7 August 2006 - UBC Media Group (LN: UBC), today announces that it has signed a
3 year extension to its existing deal with Trafficlink.

Trafficlink was appointed as UBC's sole supplier of traffic and travel data and
broadcast services to its network of 151 UK commercial radio stations in 2004.
Since then, UBC has built the successful Network Drive advertising package
around the Trafficlink bulletins with revenues up 48.5% in its last published
figures. The original contract, which was due to end in December 2007, has now
been extended to December 2010.

UBC pioneered "Barter syndication" as a means of delivering high quality content
to commercial radio, and is now the largest independent network airtime sales
point to media agencies. Bringing together UBC's extensive experience and
unrivalled contacts in this area and Trafficlink's long experience and expertise
in aggregating and distributing highly comprehensive traffic and travel
information has proved to be a hugely successful combination.

UBC's syndicated programme strands are provided to commercial radio groups in
exchange for airtime, creating a one-stop national advertising opportunity
within the Trafficlink Radio bulletins. UBC currently supplies syndicated
services including Entertainment News, Network Drive, and as announced yesterday
Sky News Radio to over 250 commercial radio stations within the UK.

Operating from seven regional offices across the UK, Trafficlink aggregates
congestion and incident information through a wide variety of information
sources including Police Control Rooms, 4,000 CCTV cameras, local authorities,
on road speed monitors motorists and public transport operators. These extensive
sources, monitored by the country's largest team of traffic and travel analysts,
provides cause and effect of incidents and their likely duration.

Trafficlink's information reaches in excess of 40 million people each week
across a number of different platforms.

Commenting on the deal, UBC's Chief Executive Simon Cole said:

"I am delighted we have secured an extension of this contract which has proved
to be hugely successful for both parties involved. We have enjoyed working with
Trafficlink and have great respect for the service they provide. We look
forward to continuing to work with them going forward."

John Quinn, Commercial Director at UBC said:

"This is yet another positive deal for UBC's airtime sales business which has
delivered significant growth since the initial contract was signed in 2004. The
Trafficlink contract is an important deal for us and I am very pleased to have
secured this extension and to continue working with Trafficlink."

Commenting on the deal Nick Somper, Chief Executive of Trafficlink said:

"The requirement to provide the UK with highly detailed and accurate traffic and
travel information continues to grow. Trafficlink's highly developed
infrastructure and complex data aggregation network together with UBC's
expertise in network sales has enabled the partnership to meet this demand on
behalf of commercial radio. We very much look forward to working with our
colleagues at UBC in the future."
