Marketron Files Lawsuit Against Competitor BURLINGAME, Calif., May 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Marketron International, Inc. ("Marketron") today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Tapscan, LLC ("Tapscan"), has filed a copyright infringement suit against OneDomain, Inc. ("OneDomain"). The suit claims that OneDomain has infringed Tapscan's copyrighted computer code by copying Tapscan's code and selling it to a OneDomain customer in New York. The suit was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and seeks injunctive relief and damages. Mike Jackson, CEO of Marketron, said: "We now know that OneDomain has copied substantial amounts of the source code for our products. Our intellectual property is a core asset and we will vigorously pursue this litigation. No one but Marketron and its subsidiaries should be selling our computer code."
