Zambezi (AIM Code: ZNI), the AIM-quoted African nickel exploration and
development company, today announces Paul Rankine has resigned as Chief
Executive Officer (CEO) and from the board of directors with effect from today,
but will continue to act as a consultant to the Company.  Julian Ford will act
as the Managing Director until the appointment of a permanent CEO is made.



Commenting on today's announcement, Jeremy Wrathall, Chairman of Zambezi said, "
Zambezi wishes to thank Paul Rankine for his assistance in the flotation of the
Company and executing our strategy of fast tracking our Mitaba River nickel
prospects.  Zambezi Nickel continues to explore and develop opportunities for
possible nickel prospects in the SADC region and exploration has commenced at
the Mavita Project in Mozambique."
