                            MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES

On 23 March 2007, Virotec International plc (the "Company") (AIM: VTI) received
notification as required by Section DTR5 of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency
Rules, in relation to holdings in the Company from:

- FMR Corp. of 82 Devonshire Street, Boston MA 02109 (FMR), and
- Fidelity International Limited of PO Box HM 670, Hamilton HMCX, Bermuda (FIL).

The notification provided a restatement of historic interests in compliance with
