          Virtual Internet plc ("Virtual Internet" or the "Company")
                                       
                 Outcome of the Extraordinary General Meeting


Virtual Internet announces that all the resolutions proposed at the
Extraordinary General Meeting held today, inter alia, in respect of the
Placing of Ordinary Shares in the Company, Admission to the Official List, and
the change of name to Virtual Internet plc, were duly passed.

The Existing Ordinary Shares and New Ordinary Shares are due to be admitted to
the Official List and dealings to commence, on 18 April 2000.  Definitive
share certificates are expected to be despatched by 20 April 2000.  The
Warrants will remain quoted on AIM.

Definitions used herein have the same meaning as those used in the Listing
Particulars of the Company dated 21 March 2000.
