Conversion of shares

The Company has received Conversion Notices in respect of the 31 March 2012 Conversion Calculation Date from shareholders as follows:

   Total number of shares converting from Sterling to US Dollar                              263

Total number of shares converting from Euro to Sterling 168,925

   Total number of shares converting from Euro to US Dollar                                  6,642 
   Total number of shares converting from US Dollar to Sterling                              966,226

The net asset values per share of the Sterling Shares, Euro Shares and US Dollar Shares as at 31 March 2012 were:

Sterling Shares GBP1.3508 per share

   Euro Shares                  EUR1.2297 per share 
   US Dollar Shares          $1.1378 per share

The following conversion ratios were used:

0.527196 Sterling share for each US Dollar share

0.758762 Sterling share for each Euro share

1.896854 US Dollar share for each Sterling share

1.439261 US Dollar share for each Euro share

The following foreign exchange rates as at 31 March 2012 were used:

   USD / GBP      1.59775 
   USD / EUR      1.33170 
   EUR / GBP      1.19978

Shareholder CREST accounts for those shareholders for whom Conversion Notices have been received will be credited with new shares on 11 May 2012.

The Company has made an application to admit 637,561 Sterling shares and 10,057 US Dollar shares to the official list of the UK Listing Authority and the Channel Islands Stock Exchange, and to trading on the London Stock Exchange and the Channel Islands Stock Exchange.

Following issue and cancellation of the relevant shares, the total number of shares in issue and voting rights in each class will be as follows:

   -    81,040,388 Sterling Shares 
   -    1,576,287 Euro Shares 
   -    6,982,379 US Dollar Shares

The total of these figures (89,599,054) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency rules.
