Please note that the following error has come to light :

On 18.6.1999 Thompson Clive Investments ("TCI")announced that the interest of
one of its major shareholders, Merchant Investors Assurance Company Ltd,
registered in the name of The Bank of New York (Nominees) Ltd, had increased
to 11.4988% following their acquisition of 75,000 ordinary shares in TCI's
share capital.  The holding had in fact increased from 11.4988% to 12.0328%,
the level at which it still stands.
