                     Tadpole Technology plc ("the Company")

                            Resignation of Director

The Company today announces the resignation of Dr. Mark Ketteman as a Director
of the Company following the successful disposal of the Geospatial Solutions
Division to ESRI (UK) Limited. Dr. Ketteman continues to be employed by the
Company to manage the completion of the business transition commitments agreed
with ESRI (UK), which are expected to be concluded within the next two weeks.

David Lee, Chairman, commented "Since his appointment to the board in November
2004, Mark's conduct as a listed company director has been exemplary and he has
discharged his fiduciary responsibilities in accordance with the best standards
of corporate governance. I am grateful for Mark's support during some very
difficult challenges that threatened the proper running of the Company and my
board colleagues and I wish him every success in his future endeavours."
