                                Grant of Options


The Company today announces the granting of 18,818,750 options in the shares of
Tadpole Technology Plc at a price of 4.50p per share which was the closing
mid-market price on Friday 2nd November.

Mr David Lee and Mr Peter Bondar were awarded 2,500,000 and 5,000,000 options
respectively under the Company's UK scheme. A further 4,012,500 options were
granted to the UK based employees of the Streaming business under the UK scheme,
and 7,306,250 to the employees of Endeavors Technologies, Inc. under the
Company's US scheme. In the UK these awards vest after three years from the date
of grant; and in the US they vest over three years at each anniversary of the
grant. All options will lapse automatically after ten years following the date
of grant.

With this grant Mr Lee now holds options over 4,500,000 at an average price of
4.61p per share; and Mr Bondar 5,000,000 at an average price of 4.5p per share.

Following these awards there is now a total of 30,280,750 options outstanding
under the Company's schemes, and after taking into account options already
exercised the total of shares utilised by the option schemes amounts to
32,328,291. This represents 7.58% of the Company's issued share capital; the
Directors hold authority, granted by the Company in December 2000, to award up
to 15% of the Company's issued share capital.
