                        SPARK VCT 2 PLC (the "Company") 
 
Notification of Transactions of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial 
Responsibility 
 
Further to the Strategy Announcement released on 29 January 2010 in which the 
Directors of the Company and key members of the SPARK management team indicated 
their intention to purchase shares on their own behalf, the Board announces 
that on 16 April 2010, following the announcement of the Annual Financial 
Report on 1 April 2010 and the share buy-back conducted by the Company on 9 
April 2010 at the maximum price permitted (105% of the average mid-market price 
for the preceding five dealing days), the Directors of the Company acquired a 
total of 84,570 ordinary shares of 1p in the Company at a price of 13.0803p per 
share as follows:

The Company is now in a closed period until the announcement of the Interim 
Management Statement for the period ended 31 March 2010.
