                            Departure of Team Manager
                                        
Sheffield United plc (AIM: SUT), the football, property and leisure services 
business, announces that its football manager, Bryan Robson, has left the Club 
with immediate effect.

Mr Robson departs with Brian Kidd, Assistant Team Manager. They will be replaced
by Kevin Blackwell and Sam Ellis as Manager and Assistant Manager respectively,
until the end of the season.

In addition, Terry Robinson will be stepping down as chairman of the football 
club board at the end of the season but will stay on as a director.
