                                 AGM Statement


Sumus Plc ("Sumus" or the "Group"), the AIM listed holding company for IFA
businesses providing investment and financial advisory services and network
support services to IFA firms, is holding its Annual General Meeting at 11.00
a.m. today.

At the meeting, Paul Bradshaw, Sumus' Chairman, will make the following
statement: -
"As stated in our preliminary results which were released on 22 January 2008,
progress so far in the current financial year is satisfactory, with trading
remaining at acceptable levels despite the challenging conditions being
experienced in equity and investment markets The Board remains confident of the
Group's progress and we look forward to another successful year in 2008.

A full update on the Group's first half performance will be provided following
our half year end, 31 March 2008."
