                          Appointment of Joint Broker 
 
The board of Strontium plc ("Strontium" or the "Company"), the AIM listed 
consultancy specialising in the identification and development of high growth 
potential SMEs, announces that it has appointed SVS Securities plc ("SVS") as 
joint broker to the Company with immediate effect. 
 
In relation to the appointment of SVS, the Company has today allotted 54,348 
new ordinary shares of 2p each (the "SVS Shares") in the Company at an issue 
price of 11.5p per share, to SVS, in lieu of part of the retainer fee payable 
to SVS. 
 
Application for the SVS Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM has been made 
and is expected to occur on 17 May 2010. The SVS Shares will rank pari passu 
with the existing ordinary shares in issue. Following the issue of the SVS 
Shares the Company will have 13,595,684 ordinary shares of 2p each in issue. 
 
In accordance with the transitional provisions of the Disclosure and 
Transparency Rules of the Financial Services Authority, the Company confirms 
that, following this issue, its issued share capital comprises 13,595,684 
ordinary shares of 2p each. All of the ordinary shares have equal voting rights 
and none of the ordinary shares are held in Treasury. The total number of 
voting rights in the Company is therefore 13,595,684. 
 
This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations 
by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, 
or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the 
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
