AGM STATEMENT 
 
 
Southern Bear Plc, a holding Group focusing on investments in the support 
services, industrial and engineering sectors of the UK and Europe, announces 
that at the Company's Annual General Meeting (AGM) held earlier today, all 
resolutions were duly passed. 
 
 
Jon Pither, Chairman of Southern Bear, made the following statement: 
 
 
"I am pleased to report that trading over the first three months has been very 
pleasing and in line with forecasts. 
 
 
"As announced this morning, BGC Limited has been awarded a new contract with 
eaga plc to provide contracting services for the Warm Front 3 scheme. This 
contract further increases its services to eaga plc from four to 13 regional 
areas - which is expected to significantly increase the level of sales revenue 
and underlying profitability of the business. 
 
 
"I would like to give my particular thanks to Group Executive Directors, Steven 
Hancock and Mark Sims for their dedicated work on this contract."
