SRA International Wins Two Multi-Award Contracts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

New Work Covers Program, Preparedness Support for CDC Initiatives
FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International,
Inc. (NYSE:SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic

commercial clients, announced today it has been awarded two
contracts totaling $55 million, from the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention (CDC). SRA will work with CDC's National
Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention
(NCHHSTP) on a span of services including: needs identification;
strategic program planning; monitoring and evaluation; training and
capacity building; technical support; and formative research and
technology transfer. This contract has a potential of $35 million
over a five-year period. SRA also won a five-year blanket
purchasing agreement (BPA) contract from CDC's Coordinating Office
for Terrorism Preparedness and Emergency Response (COTPER). The BPA
has a $20 million ceiling, and will provide COTPER with a ready
source of management, scientific, and technical expertise for
carrying out projects related to strategic planning, organization
development, project management, technical assistance, pre-award
assessments and improving administrative effectiveness. "SRA excels
