                                  AGM Statement 
 
At the Annual General Meeting of the Company held today, all resolutions were 
duly passed. Carolyn Simons, Non-Executive Chairman gave the following update to 
shareholders: 
 
"Despite the continuing nature of the problems experienced during our year 
ending September 2009 which were reported on in my Chairman's Statement, trading 
for the first five months of the current financial year is on target and ahead 
of our budget. 
 
"We must caution shareholders that this does not imply that we have moved into a 
trading recovery. 
 
"Although for the first time in the last three years, we are seeing an increase 
in our key brands' Autumn Winter 2010 order books, and there are signs of 
additional bank credit being made available to our customers, we do not expect 
to see recovery until our financial year ending September 2011."
