                        SECTORGUARD PLC ('the Company')

                            ACQUIRES CCTV SPECIALIST


SectorGuard plc, the AIM listed total security solutions group, has acquired the
specialist CCTV installation and maintenance business, Protector, from Smart
Securities CCTV Ltd for #750,000 in cash. This acquisition continues
SectorGuard's aggressive expansion strategy aimed at increasing its market share
across the security sector.


Protector is currently based in Salford and will be integrated into
SectorGuard's Fire & Security Systems division where its management, sales and
engineering staff will complement SectorGuard's existing team in the enlarged
business. SectorGuard will be opening new offices in the North West to
accommodate this enlarged division and service SectorGuard's group-wide
expansion plans in that region.


Protector's turnover in the year-ended 30 November 2006 was #1.7m. It has more
than 350 contracted clients across a broad range of industry sectors, including
Total Oil, BOC, Sodexho and Hugo Boss.


SectorGuard CEO David Marks said, "We have an active expansion policy aimed at
increasing our presence in the UK security market. This acquisition not only
increases our turnover in the CCTV arena but also expands our geographical
spread. The addition of Protector's staff to our growing security systems
division strengthens its infrastructure, facilitating further growth and
improved client service capability whilst adding to the division's profits."


SectorGuard, founded in 1998, supplies total security solutions across the UK.
It has four key divisions: fire & security systems, response services, retail
security tagging and security personnel servicing a broad range of public and
private sector clients.
