    Statement regarding Press Article


    River Diamonds notes the article published in the Evening Standard newspaper on 13 August 2008 ('the article').

    The Company can confirm that there is no claim at all against River Diamonds in the court and that the Company is not facing any legal
claim for any sum as the article misleadingly reported.

    As far as the Company is aware, the dispute referred to in the article is between two shareholders of the Company (Viso Gero Global Inc.
and Templar Minerals Ltd.) and has no impact on the Company's or its operations at the Vatukoula gold mine.
