Result of AGM

Proventec plc (AIM:PROV, Alternext:ALTPC), the provider of specialist steam cleaning technologies and janitorial supplies, confirms that resolutions 1 to 5 put to shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting held earlier today (the "AGM") were duly passed.

The AGM was then adjourned (with the unanimous consent of the meeting) prior to voting on resolution 6 (being the special resolution to disapply certain pre-emption rights) in order to give the Company's principal beneficial shareholders (which had given instructions to vote in favour of this resolution 6 but whose nominee(s) had not correctly completed the applicable form of proxy) an opportunity to give instructions to complete this paperwork prior to the vote on this resolution being taken - as the principal shareholders had confirmed that they were not yet certain how long it would take to correct this paperwork, the chairman of the meeting determined (with the unanimous consent of the meeting) that the AGM should be adjourned until 11am on 6 April 2011 (such adjourned meeting to reconvene at the same venue as the AGM, being 30 Crown Place, London EC2A 4ES).
