                            Exercise of share options


Prometheus Energy Company, an alternative and renewable energy company, today
announces that pursuant to an exercise of  stock options, the Company issued and
allotted, conditional on admission, 573,506 ordinary shares of nil nominal value
in the Company. Application has been made to have the shares admitted to trading
on AIM, with dealings expected to  commence on 27 November 2007.

The new shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares. 
Following the share issue, the Company's  outstanding issued share capital, less
shares held by the Company in treasury, will be 59,961,478 shares.
