    Oriel Resources Plc ("Oriel", or the "Company"), the London-based chrome and nickel mining and processing company, announces that on 19
May 2008 it received a notification given in fulfilment of the obligations imposed under Chapter 5 of the Disclosure Transparency Rules by
RAB Capital PLC, that following the disposal of 100% of interest in Oriel on 15 April 2008, it no longer holds a notifiable interest in the
Company.

    This follows RAB Capital Plc's previous holding of 46,536,630 or 7.28% of the Ordinary shares of 1p each of Oriel Resources PLC.

    RAB Capital Plc acts as investment manager for RAB Special Situations (Master) Fund Limited and RAB Energy Fund Limited. RAB Capital plc
does not act as custodian for its clients and therefore the shares are held in the nominee name of the custodian of its clients, which is
Credit Suisse Client Nominees (UK) Limited.
