Appointment and Resignation of Non-Executive Director 
The Board of Octopus Apollo VCT 4 plc is pleased to announce the appointment of 
Martijn Kleibergen as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 
7 December 2011.  He is to replace Chris Hulatt who resigned on the same day. 
Chris was one of the three Founders of the Company's Investment Manager, Octopus 
Investments Limited, and remains Chief Financial Officer there. 
 
Martijn  is  an  International  business  professional  with 12 years of banking 
experience at Fortis Group. He has built up strong sector knowledge and networks 
within  the  global  Telecommunications  and  Media  sector.   He is also a Non- 
Executive Director of Octopus VCT plc and Octopus VCT 2 plc. 
Murray Steele, Chairman of Octopus Apollo VCT 4 plc commented: "We are delighted 
to  welcome Martijn to the Board.  His  experience will enhance the Board and we 
look forward to working with him". 
Mr  Kleibergen  holds  a  Master  of  Science  Degree in Business Economics from 
Erasmus University Rotterdam where he specialised in Financial Economics.
