Nordic Energy, the oil and gas exploration and production company focused on
the North Sea and Northern Europe, announces that Donald ("Don") Nicolson, due
to conflicting time commitments, has resigned from his position as Chairman and
a Director of Nordic Energy plc. He will continue to be available to advise the
company on an ad hoc basis and maintain an ongoing relationship with Nordic.

Rudolf Kleiber, Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We would all like to thank
Don for his valued input as Chairman and look forward to his continued support
of the Company in an ad hoc advisory capacity."
