    CLOSURE OF COPPERCO OFFER FOR MINERAL SECURITIES



    Mineral Securities Limited ("Minsec") advises that CopperCo Limited ("CopperCo") has today announced the closure of its offer for
Minsec. Following the closure of the offer, CopperCo has lodged the requisite Form 604 in respect of Acceptances it has received for its
offer for Minsec shares.  The number of Acceptances reported is 154,789,475 or 94.7% of Minsec's shares in issue. 

    CopperCo has advised that it intends to proceed with the compulsory redemption of the remaining Minsec shares on issue as soon as
practicable.
