Notice of AGM and Proxy Form

Max Petroleum, an oil and gas exploration and production company focused on Kazakhstan, today announces that its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday 28 September 2015 at the Lansdowne Club, 9 Fitzmaurice Place, Mayfair, London W1J 5JD. A copy of the Notice of AGM and Proxy form will be available on the Company's website at www.maxpetroleum.com and will be posted to shareholders today.

Following the change of auditor announced on 25 August 2015, work on the audit for the year ended 31 March 2015 is ongoing. Consequently, notice of a further general meeting to approve the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2015 will be posted to shareholders in due course.
