Monkleigh  plc,  the  AIM-listed company formed to buy and develop  events  management,  corporate
hospitality and related businesses, announces that John Saunders has joined with immediate effect.
This  is  its  second deal since its float in July, and the company continues to look  at  further
opportunities.

John Saunders' brand First Corporate Events is a niche corporate event management business with  a
strong  city-based  client  list.  This includes Deutsche Bank, Citigroup  and  HSBC  whilst  also
working  with  large  media  companies Granada and ITV.  The  company  specialises  in  organising
conferences, corporate hospitality (including ski weekends), seminars and roadshows amongst  other
activities.

John  Saunders has a wealth of events and hospitality experience, and years of expertise arranging
highly  successful national and international events.  Among the most recent are senior management
roadshows  for  telecoms operator '3' and the official hospitality for the  Oxford/Cambridge  Boat
Race.

This is the second transaction made by Monkleigh plc since coming to market in July this year.  In
October,  Monkleigh employed the key personnel of Pro Motions Event Management, event  design  and
production  specialists who have worked with Mercedes Benz, BMW & BAe Systems among  a  number  of
blue chip names and are driving this section of the business forward.  The events marketing sector
is  a  fragmented area and the addition of First Corporate Event underlines the company's strategy
of investing in businesses to form an integrated event marketing service group.

John Saunders, Managing Director of First Corporate Events, commented:
